Each year QSI accepts approximately 80 incoming 6th grade students as well as a handful of rising 9th grade students to replace those who go on to other high schools.  Priority is given to students living within District 25.

6th Grade

• 6th Grade applications are accepted each spring.
• Students are then chosen by lottery.
• Applications are available at your child's elementary school and can be printed from this website.
• The first part of the application is completed by the parent or guardian and then given to your child's school.
• After the school fills out its part, the school will mail the application to QSI.

9th Grade

• Rising 9th grade students can apply through the normal high school addmissions process.

Prospective students are encouraged to make an appointment to visit QSI with their families by calling 718-380-6929.
