Bermuda Triangle
I am reading a book called The Bermuda Triangle written by Aaron Rosenberg. I found this book in Mr. Carpenter’s magical bookshelf of science. It was said that the Bermuda Triangle was one of the most famous unsolved mystery. No one has ever tried to solve this mystery. If they did, they would know that they had a high chance of dying. The Bermuda Triangle had caused many ships to disappear. It also caused airplanes to disappear too, once flight turned into something popular.
One thing I learned from this book wasn’t about the Bermuda Triangle. It was that there were two kinds of North. One was the magnetic North and the other was the true North. The Magnetic north was the north that the compass shows. Therefore, compasses don’t show you the correct north. The true north is entirely different. It was sometimes even twenty degrees away from the magnetic north. This causes the compasses in ships and planes to mess up in the Bermuda Triangle. In the Bermuda Triangle, the magnetic and true north is aligned and will immediately mess up the reading on the compass.
The second thing I learned was that Christopher Columbus was the first to record what happened while, crossing through the Bermuda Triangle. I was quite surprised that Christopher Columbus had all three of his ships safe. I also think it was the beginning of the disasters. He was also smart to not panic and make the crew members panic more. I didn’t get why the other witness other than Christopher Columbus didn’t start panicking.
I think that this book overall was good although the author sometimes goes into some tangents that aren’t about the Bermuda Triangle in any way. I wish I could solve the mystery behind the Bermuda Triangle. It seems so cool and interesting. I am so curious to find out but some things in this world just aren’t meant to be solved.

Are you still adding more, i
Are you still adding more, i would dye to hear more facts
I always wondered how planes
I always wondered how planes and ships dissapeared in the Bermuda Trinagle when I heard about the Bermuda Triangle. I never knew Christopher Columbus went through the Bermuda Triangle, and he survived, along with the 3 ships! He must have been really brave if he did not panic while most people may panic that they were going to die and dissapear with their ships or planes.
