Speak Out for Student MetroCards

Next week, March 2nd – 4th, the MTA will hold 5 public hearings in New York City on the proposed cuts to student MetroCards and service.


The Straphangers Campaign wants to help you speak out. There are many resources to help you prepare your statement in our Testimony Toolkit. The best testimony is to describe how the cuts will directly affect you, your family or your community.

If you want to make a written statement, we encourage you to submit a statement through the Straphangers Campaign's website. We will deliver your statement to the MTA at one of the hearings.
