The Human Brain

Your brain, as I found out in Readers Digest: The Brain and Central Nervous System,is the master controller of your body.As the controller, the central nervous system oversees and adjusts your inner world, while making you able to make sense of the things that take place around you, the outside world.

Your brain and spinal cord  form your central nervous system, the most amazing, most complex set of tissues in your body. Yep. The central nervous system is made up of tissues. The neurons, nerve cells, actually, from all around your body, gather to make nerve bundles, which join together and carry instructions. Yes, your neurons also have to be obedient. Then they go down to your spine, where they connect, forming your spinal cord.

The part where the cord meets the brain, many bulges mark the 1st primitive parts. These parts are the brainstem and cerebellum. This stem abruptly swells into large mass with a surface that closely resembles a walnut. This is because of the way it is marked, with a lot of deep grooves and ridges - the cerebrum.

The cerebrum is a very complex part of the brain. This has many different functions. Functions such as thoughts and actions. Also language, the abilities and qualities that make us humans.

Just to make a simple golf movement, a swing, our brain does a lot of mathematics. It not only does this, but a lot more.It judges distance and force. It also judges how to keep us balanced and up.

Isn't our brain wonderful???

You're right, our brain is

You're right, our brain is wonderful. Imagine what it would be like to have no brain. You could not eat, taste, smell, think, or even talk. Great blog post.

This is great! This blog was really informative. I never knew the spinal cord is made up of nerve cells and neurons. I guess the the brian is probably the most complicated thing that make up our body.Laughing

Our brain really is

Our brain really is intelligent when you are a smarticle person. LOL... Because, if you are dumb, whats the point in having a brain? Well, im sure you can find points but life would be very unhappy being dumb and not knowing how to carry yourself properly.

 Cheyenne, I disagree.

Cheyenne, I disagree. Everyone has their own ways of being dumb and others of being smart. Like some people are really smart but can't draw or something like that. Anyways, thanks for commenting. I agree with Jaspreet, as our brain is a very complicated organ. The brain is very complexed and important. Sometimes, however, I feel you really didn't need a brain. ??? =)
