My book, Snakes, by Seymour Simon is about... yup snakes. I found this book in Mr. Carpenter and wanted to read it because the snake on th cover seemed very interesting and it was brightly colored yelow snake [a scary one]. This got me to read this book. There are many types of snakes that have many different feature like having horns or fangs of a posineous snake like  the eyelash vipor.

Rattle Snake

A rattle has one partically special feature on is tail, which is know as the rattle. The rattle is at the end of the snakes tail. Its almost like a maraca, but it sounds more like insects then music, because of the little substances in the rattle. When it is shaken, it beats against the delicate rattle making the warning sound a rattle snakes make.

Big snakes

When I mean big snakes, i mean big snakes that are long, fat and big!!! Instead of killing their prey with poisonous fangs, they use a special technique that they hace to squeeze their prey to death. These big snakes live more in the warm tropical climate near the river banks.

Habits

Snakes have different types of habits. Some are like a hognose snake. MAny snakes want to keep them selves safe because they would be afraid of humans most likely. A hognose snake would do  multiple things in order to protect its self, like for instance, it would try to act lika the cobra all scary and stuff, or it will hiss until its clear for safety.

As you can see, snakes are slithering creatures that look different, have special features, do speacial things and alot more things. This makes them unique. But have you ever wondered if there is a snake that can do all of this at once?
