The title of the book that I read, was Earth in Space. The author of this book, is Donna Latham. I got this book from my friend. He was doing his homework, and I saw it. So I asked him if I could borrow it, and he said yes. The reason why I picked this book, was because it was about space.

   I read Can you Hear A Shout In Space? The authors are Melvin and Gilda Berger. I founf this book in Mr. Carpenters library. I wanted to learn more about space. I was interested.

   You can't hear a shout in space. Space comes after the earth's atmosphere. Space never ends. It keeps going and going. There are not any planes in space. They can't fly there.

    Neil Armstrong was the first to walk on the moon. This happened on July, 20, 1969. The moon is smaller than the earth. The gravity is one sixth as strong as the earth. Neil Armstrong figured out that's it's easier to jump to places on the moon.Read more >>

When I was at my public library I picked up the book called “Isaac Newton, The scientist who changed everything” by Phillip Steele. The title sounded interesting because how can one man change everything? This book is about a scientist named Isaac Newton’s life and findings. It talks about his youth but mainly his discoveries.

Newton spent a lot of time observing light. He realized that light travels in waves made up of tiny particles. One day, he used a prism and put it in the light. When the light hits the prism it is white, but when it bends it shows the colors of the rainbow. He discovered that white light is made up of all the colors. I spotted the book, “Don’t know much about space”, by Kenneth C. Davis in Mr. Carpenter’s library. I chose to read it because I like learning about the Universe and outer space. I always wonder about the new worlds in space that are undiscovered. We have been exploring space and searching for life for half a century. Who knows what could be out there! This book is almost like a Q&A of the final frontier. It asks different space related topics and them answers them. The pictures also help explain the answers.Read more >>
